Research Coordinator - World History

The World History Center is hiring an individual with advanced training in world history or a related field to serve as Research Coordinator. Under the direction of the Director and Associate Director of the WHC, the Research Coordinator will be responsible for managing large-scale interdisciplinary initiatives in research and publication, as well as educational outreach and public-facing events.  Key responsibilities will include: identifying opportunities for external funding, assisting with the grant writing process and managing existing external and internal grants; coordinating several editorial review and publication processes for articles, data, and curricula; supporting web, print, and social media communication for the WHC; setting agendas and directing communication for events of various sizes and diverse audiences; managing communication with national and international partners in world history; overseeing professional activities associated with K-12 teacher outreach, and engaging in world historical research in collaboration with the director and associate director.
