October 28, 2019 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Part of the Fall Series World History In Turbulent Times

WHC Lunch Conversation with WHC Associate Director Molly Warsh

Join us for a lunch discussion on Monday Oct. 28th on the topic of forced labor and migration in world historical perspective, led by Prof. Molly Warsh (History, Pitt). As we contend with modern realities of large-scale migration in response to political upheaval, warfare, and environmental catastrophe, what insights can we gain by considering past global crises and the interlocking relationships among state power, technology, faith, labor markets, and the natural world?

Lunch will be served, so please RSVP to whc@pitt.edu.
