Nicholas Demjan is a senior in the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences majoring in History and Political Science. He was born in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. His love of history developed alongside his exploration of his own queer identity, which has influenced his research focus as well. He is the current secretary of Creator’s Collective, a member of Phi Alpha Theta history honor society, and has served as an undergraduate teaching assistant in multiple courses. He has also served as a Digital Atlas and Design Intern for the World History Center before this role. After graduating from Pitt, he intends to pursue a Ph.D. in history with a focus on twentieth-century United States and queer activism in the post-Stonewall era.
