We are delighted to announce the World History Center has contributed a database of world historical resources to the Humanities in Class Digital Library through a partnership between the World History Center and the National Humanities Center. In total, we have contributed sixty-eight resources, organzied and collected by the Alliance for Learning in World History. These resources include world historical syllabi, educational websites, and materials generated by our professional development workshops for educators.
To access the Alliance for Learning in World History’s resources, please visit our group page. In order to view these resources, you will have to make an account, a free and easy process. In our group page, you will see resources organized by our professional development workshops, “Hot Topics in World History,” “Teaching the Global African Diaspora,” and “World History Syllabi.”
This coming summer’s workshop (June 2021) will focus on “Teaching Indigenous History as World History” and we anticipate adding those resources to our group page when the time comes. We will soon be posting more details about the 2021 workshop on our Twitter account so please stay tuned and spread the word!
