Dr. Natalie Rothman is the first invited speaker as part of a year-long speaker series "Islam in the World" co-sponsored by the World History Center and Early Modern Worlds. Her talk is entitled "Dragomans and the Routes of Orientalism" and is preceded by a brown bag session earlier in the day that will focus on the digital methods she uses in her work.
The brown bag session will be held from 12:00-1:00pm.
Her talk will begin at 4:30pm.
Both events will take place in the Department of History Lounge (3703 Posvar Hall).
