The Journal of World-Historical Information (JWHI) is a recently established journal based at the University of Pittsburgh’s World History Center. The JWHI was founded and has been edited by Patrick Manning and supported by World History Center resources. As the editorial leadership is transitioning, the editorial board has brought a proposal to integrate the JWHI with the Journal of World Systems Research (JWSR). The JWSR is the official journal of the Political Economy of the World-System Section of the American Sociological Association. JWSR is an open-access, peer reviewed journal with an interdisciplinary audience of readers from around the world. The first post-merger issue will be published in the Spring of 2018.
